We have been learning about two different Native American areas: the plains and the woodlands. We are comparing where they lived, the types of homes they lived in, the food they ate, the clothing they wore, what type of transportation they used, how they communicated, and what types of ceremonies or traditions they had. After our comparison of the two areas, the students then will work in pairs to do research on one specific tribe from one of the areas we have discussed.
